| Bad experience would not suggest dealing with "island cruzer2 Promotive Automotive Trvis Carvalho" has stuff for sale now. Bought and paid for a carb and manifold 3 weeks later nothing 8 emails 16 phone calls not a man of his word. Have bought from Samba members with no problems. Got a claim filed for returning my $235 |

Well sometimes things dont go as planed. I droped the carb and it cracked. BUMMER- I told this customer I will credit his card ASAP. He cancled his card wasent able to credit transaction. Now from cancleing his card I need to pay a reverse transaction fee of $35.00 BUMMER. he dident
give me a chance to make it right. Now I lose $35.00 thanks buddy. |

It's true. That link to www.bodeswell.org is me. It's my story. I found him on here and on Craigslist. I went to his shop and dealt with him directly - and he basically stole my engine. The 'ole bait and switch.
I talked to some other shops nearby and they all knew him - and knew he was a crook. One shop even offered to rebuild my engine for free if I could get it back from him.
I was from out of town and in pretty dire straights, so ripe for scamming I suppose. He obliged.
Even if he gets banned, I'm sure he'll re-appear with another name and continue the game...

I am so very glad that I have a habit of checking Feedback on Samba sellers before I send money to any seller...This guy has a set of 44 IDFs that I wanted to buy...after reading this thread, I'd only buy them if he sent them to me first for inspection!!!!
P.S. Why is this guy still able to be a Seller??? Seems to me to be very unreliable/dishonest!!! |
