You just can't deny it. Dune buggies are getting very popular again! There are just too many of us resurecting these buggies not to notce us! _________________ Street legal fiberglass rocket ship

I wonder if they had it built special for the video or used somebody's.
Its really a fairly good Thomas Crown replica. Its got the headlights in the hood, the rear toneau cover rack, the extended side skirts, American Racing Mags, Monza filler and a fairly close windshield(except with safety glass). The obvious differences are the non-Corvair engine, non-rounded hood, the rollbar and the color.
I want to build one. |

On second viewing the rear engine moulding looks more Fiberjet or Rascal-ish than Manx, but not too shoddy all the same... |

Martin, I'd also say its definitely a Thomas Crown style buggy. Take another look at it. Its got the covered headlights in the hood, a very good replica rear toneau cover and rack, a similar front bumper, extended side skirts, American Racing Mags, a Monza filler(small) and a fairly close windshield(except with legal safety glass). The obvious differences are the non-Corvair engine, non-rounded hood, the rollbar and the color. Its also been featured in a music video which puts it the desirable category anyway. Nelson |
