So i decided to start a build page of my own. I was bullshitiing about how do this, that, these and those in other peoples threads and i guess thats kind of rude. So here is my page and here's what i have. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions

67' body and pan with a 1600 ive had for about three years
so far what i have done to it is build a roof rack, new wheels and tires, build a rear bumper cage, added to the front bumper, got rid of stock head lights and put KC's in their place pluse some 7'' in lights on the roof and some 4'' lights on the front bumper, cut and turned front beam with a rancho 5000 shock as a steering damper (made quite a difference), Spun aluminum gas tank up front, CB radio, 5 point seat belts, moved the battery to the rear package tray, moved the volt. regulator to the C pillar (to protect it from water and falling debris in my car) motor's air cleaner is on the inside (its loud as hell,espically with no headlinder. I plan on using the intake silencer from my civic in there, made a huge difference while mocked up, i was actually able to hear the motor), trans strap kit, new clutch and flywheel, quick release engine cover (not screwed down like normal)

Thanks jeff. I got the motor and trans in and took it home at about 2am the day i bought it. Then went off on a 600 mile road trip at 6am the next morning. I was wheeling the crap out of it with in 24 hours after bring it home. Thats when those pics where taken. It was a memorable trip.

Well, after a few beers, I had to try to figure out why there was an air filter coming out of the battery box. Man, Its been a long day.

My future plans that are coming in about a year are to swap the pan for an IRS, bus trans and some 2x3's and then i eventually want to put a Honda v6 in it. Thats gona take a while though since i'll need to have a cherry suspension, brakes, roll cage and a well built trans. but some day.....

today i got a electric fuel pump. My stocker took a crap on me last thursday right before i was went on a camping trip into the desert. it sucked not to have it out there. it was a fun trip though. I hope that it will be going next year. Any way the pump i got is a Facet that pumps 25 gph at 1.5-4 psi. Think thats enough? Im want to put it in this weekend as well as hook up the stock tank so i can carry 20 gals.

You did not waste any time in beating it up!! Bit I would move the spare gas can to the front or not carry one at all. Shocked

With all that electrical around it would not take much to turn bad.

Yeah having a gas can between a battery and a volt regulator does get me and my passengers a little nervous.

So im thinking of starting a built up ball joint beam for my baja. I want it to be lifted and i was wondering which is better to do. No cut and turn and put lift spindels on, or cut and turn and no lift spindles. Im not to worried about money because im going to buy an extra beam and fix that one up, so i wont be in a rush to get it done. I want to take my time and do it right. I already have clearenced ball joints that i plan on putting in. I was thinking of reinforcing the steering arm with a gusset. I also want some real good shocks but i havent been able to find any thing for ball joints but the KYB's. Is it possible to take the stock shock towers off and put on some towers that hold the link pin type shocks? I also want to reinforce the rest of the beam. Give me some ideas to strenghten this thing up.

6100 series bilsteins. They make one for cut and turned ball joint front ends.

Ok so today i got my electric fuel pump hook up. Im wondering how to hook up the switch now. Should i run it on its own power circuit so i have to turn a switch on every time i start the car and remember to shut it off when ever i turn the car off. Or should i just run a wire to the ignition switch? I was thinking of taking power from the ignition and running it to a switch, then to the pump. tell me what you guys think.

Run a separate switch mounted within easy reach on the dash so you can shut it off if you roll over (no gas for a fire!)

Sorry read your post too fast, I suggest to the ignition switch so you don't forget to turn it off.

I was just looking at using an inersha fuel switch for safety in the event of a crash. They're only $30 at summit.
