|
Used to be there was 500 listings for DCOE turbo intake manifolds in the classifieds, now I can't find squat no matter how I search for it. Anybody got one, or know where I can find one for a low price? It's not for my VW (EFI for life!!!), it's for my Corvair. I just got the parts to convert the turbo from B to E-flow compressor, now I just need a side draft intake with 3" connection to the turbo. _________________ Build thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212747

I don't see any advertized, maybe they have some on the shelf? I checked Brothers too, didn't find anything. If I have to I'll make my own, but I'd rather just buy one. _________________ Build thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212747

Hey dumb ass.......didn't you know Dellortos are where it's at???
They're not as plentiful as their vertical counterparts. That means getting one for cheap isn't as easy. Why not do the EFI thing for the Chebby? _________________ '67 Sunroof

Yeah but I don't have a DHLA, I have a DCOE. You gonna trade me? I've had a 45mm Weber in the garage forever, it's a leftover from when the Mini used to be set up for rally. You know, short gearbox, lumpy cam, tubular header, all that jazz. Now the Mini will be TBI (and possibly turbo), so I had to find a place for the carb.

I might one day, but for right now I have the DCOE on hand so I'm gonna give that a whirl. Also picked up an E-flow compressor to stick on my spare turbo, so at least 15 lbs of boost should be possible with the Weber. That should be fun on a 2.8 liter air cooled flat six. _________________ Build thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212747

I'm not pitching my Dell. Then I'd have to get a Weber book........I don't speak Weber. _________________ '67 Sunroof

Make one, I don't think it would be that hard.
