Hey guys I figured I should start a build thread. I picked up a 1970 Baja project. It came with a lot of good parts. It needs the passanger floor pan and a motor those are the major peices needed. I have some parts for sale check them out. _________________ NeverLiftMotorsports

I am going to cut out the passanger floor pan first and am thinking of using sheet metal to replace it since the seats wont be mounted to it and I dont need the floor to have the drop in it for the rear passanger. Then might do the drivers side also. Clean the pan and seal it have it rhino lined of something like that. For now I want to cut and turn the front beam but might just put a link pin in it and cut and turn it. Nothing crazy with the suspension for now just want it higher. It came with a 3 inch body lift. Want to cage the car from front to rear. Probly a stock motor for now. Cant wait to get it on the road. _________________ NeverLiftMotorsports

Hey thanks. I cant wait. Have to talk to some dirt track buddys to get the cage done. Im thinking of doing 1 1/2" 120 wall tubing. Some day it will get a 12A rotary motor. That will be fun just not now. The motor will be free but dont have the money for the tranny and rear suspension. _________________ NeverLiftMotorsports

Sell the parts you don't need. Put them on craiglist and you'll be surprised that many people will contact you. |
