Anyone ever notice that at least one of the sandrails in Mad Max 2 is running a Type 3 motor? I thought that was pretty cool.

I noticed in a side shot of one of the rails, the rail motor didn't have upright cooling tin! It was clearly an aircooled motor. Then I noticed the distinct cylinder tin of the Type 3 and the generator sitting low! I had MM2 on DVR and paused it for a sec.

I've probably watched the movie a million times, and just picked up on it.

Watch the first scene when they are chasing him and the guy in the dune buggy crashes, there is a shot or two of a T1 transmission, look closely and you can see that when he crashed, the engine broke off the trans..

The gyrocoptor is running a 1600 with a magneto and a remote oil cooler.
I've never noticed, which buggy has the T3 motor?
