Hi guys,

I've found this in an NOS parts stash a few weeks ago. Could you please tell me what it is exactly? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for you reply John.
So are they all the same from in the '40ies up to the last standards that used them, was that around '60?

Yes Kai And the cool part about a car with mechanical brakes. When the emergency handle is pulled all four wheels lock up, Not just the two rear.

Well yeah and also you need to adjust them twice a year, Once in the summer when they stretch from the heat and once in the winter when they shrink. FACTORY SPECS!

Not true! Our 1949 Swedish Deluxe sedan has cable brakes and lever shocks.

I need to confirm the pan and body numbers. i confirmed the body is a '52. i believe it is the original pan and short tower beam. The pan has cable brakes.

I am assuming it is a deluxe because the body has holes (some have been welded) for body trim/moulding. only deluxes have trim correct?

Some markets added trim I believe. A better test of standard Vs deluxe is the headliner - deluxe had a full headliner, std had the centre piece only.
