no connection necessary if you are running carburetors; you can pull it and block off the opening... _________________ póg mo thóin

That's it. Remove the AAR, change to longer studs (about 13mm longer), then using the open gasket, install the plastic block into the opening, followed by the pushrod (for the pump you're using, get a stock t-3 pump and generator style push rod), then the other gasket, then the fuel pump. Hook up the hoses, and you're done. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Note that an actual Type 3 pump pumps more volume than a Type 1 pump. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

The actual difference is inside the pump, if a T-3 pump does not have its original plastic cap.
It is the tension on the spring.
I (and Pedro) can make a T-3 pump out of a T-1 pump if needed.
The main differenece externally was the orientation of the fittings when the pump is being assembled. The castings are the same. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
