I have not replied to this thread until now because I just didn't know what to say. Never met Brad in person but feel as though I did after getting to know him in these forums and in chat over the years.
Brad has always been a class act, seems to have made friends with everyone he ever met--even Alex.
I will miss writing Tubgirl haikus in chat with Brad. What a great wit he has. I will miss being booted from chat just for logging in with a smiley face. I will miss seeing pictures of Brad right in the middle of things at every show and campout he could attend.
Brad, thanks for everything! May you be at peace and finally out of pain. You have touched many lives and although the timing of this sucks, you have left the world a much better place because of your time in it.
Your courage is inspiring.
Chris

I have deliberately stayed away from this thread. Chat and the other updates are hard enough. Jon told me that I really should come read it, and of course, he's right, even just to deal. It is tough to lose a friend.

Of course, my wishes for Brad are those of peace and painlessness. You can relax, Brad-- we all know how very, very tough you are.

Nothing but love.

Chat will not be the same without that green HamburgerBrad name on the users list. I will miss your chocolate pudding teasing.

I'll see you later Brad. When I catch up to you I bet you'll be a moderator and ban my ass for a week.

Great that he will be at home and not some generic hospital room. I hear enough sorrowing stories from my wife when she gets home from her 12s to know this has got to be wonderful for brad to go home.

I had no idea that this thread was here, we have been updated via e-mail by our Samba friends. This is a very hard and unfair situation.

Brad be strong and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you!

We met a few years back at BBB, and had a lot of laughs (and Lou’s secret cherries Wink ) around the campfire with Pinto, Brad and company. It was this experience and fond memory that will keep us coming back.

Brad has touched our lives in many wonderful ways. It is an honor to have met you and had the opportunity to spend time with you at many events…you will always be in our heart.

Stay strong young man!

Hugs
~Debby and Gary

Hello everyone. This is Chris, one of his buddies from high school that has kept in touch with him ever since. I do not know most of you, but I have heard many an adventure that he has had with everyone (in and outside of the forums). I want to personally extend a warm heart-felt thank you from his friends and family for the prayers and well wishes. Brad will be home today in Chino Hills. He is in good spirits and looking forward to being home. If any of you that are close enough would like to visit or want any information, please contact me: [email protected]

If you see his SN on the members list online, that is most likely me checking messages for him.

Update: Brad is currently at home. A little tired but able to interact with all the visitors.
