Not good.
And Brad says that he was driving, and that was Henry's butt print on the window. The front seat is Bugga Cam. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

I met Brad in chat back in 2005 in chat I believe. He found out I was a license plate collector. He asked me in chat if I could locate him a 1953 "Forces in Germany" plate for his bug. I was excited to locate one so I got on it right away. I believe I found it the same or next day and couldn't wait to tell him. I then attended The Classic" that year of 06 which 3/4 of the SAMBA chatters met up. I felt like I knew noone but found out it was the first for several to meet face to face since meeting in chat. Everyone made me feel at home. I was talked into attending Then came the Vegas Show on Freemont Street later that year. That year was just special all in all. We arranged a caravan to Vegas in which Brad rolled with all of us. Had a great time...will never forget when Pete's fan shattered on his DC along the way, then Brad's car was starting to bog as we came to the torturous Baker Hill they call it. If you own an air-cooled VW and its over 100 degrees...then you know the hill we all have gotten to know...lol Despite the breakdowns, there was a good spirit...it was all fun.....It was the first time of meeting the bunch and Brad made me feel at home. After reaching our destination we all went out for dinner at The Red Robin....I got to ride with Brad in his 53' that evening and back, was a very knowledgble and friendly guy in person! Had a blast the whole weekend. I was the oldest there, kinda made me feel like an old man!! LOL....no but seriously....the next day was the show and I followed Brad to uptown Vegas where we were to park and show our cars. I was asked by Tom Carlson if I wanted to park my Aussie RHD Notch with the other few that were there, I said "No Thanks...I'm good".....I had felt at home parking next to Brad as seen in the pics here. From then on I knew him in chat daily, it was cool when he would say "hey Cr8g"...LOL....I believe he never booted me once, or maybe once Just a few months after that our family went to Germany. I knew Brad loved his beer so I asked him what would he like from Germany..he replied "Bring me back a Beer Stein from there"...I brought him the biggest one I could find and mailed it to him. He even took a picture and sent it to me of the stein with beer in it!....glad you could enjoy it full and overflowing with beer! You impressed me with your knowledge, your ability to help others. You are a great guy and example to your peers. I'm glad I got to know you.
"Thanks for the Memories"....Our family has prayed for you since!.....
May God Bless You and your Family!
Licensepl8s.....aka Cr8g

Sorry about the watermark on the photo I posted. I got rid of it. As admin of my web site, I did not see it.
I moved the photo to TheSamba. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

I just have to say that Brad's Oval is about the nicest looking oval I've ever seen. I'm more of a stock person, but I love the way he sat it up.

Hi all, I know that I don't post on here much at all. I have known Brad for years and he was the one to convince me to get on here. He is usually at my house 3-5 times a week hanging out and most of the time he is on his laptop on here in chat B.S.ing with everyone as I look at his screen and help him come up with witty remarks. He has been a huge influence on my life and apparently he was to a lot of people on here as well. Seeing all of these pictures of him reminds me how much fun he is to hang out with and I will definitely be devastated when he passes. Thank you for everyone's support because he needs it more than ever! I know that my life as well as others will never be the same. I love you B-rad, my brotha! Fuck Cancer! |

Any idea what one of his favorite songs or band might be? Admittedly I knew him from show to show and occasionally in chat, but not as well as most of you . . . _________________ Gerg

Not certain, but I do know that much to the chagrin of the music snobs here, Brad really liked 80's music. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |
