I've only seen one hard top camper shell for a double cab and it's this one below. Did VW make these or were they made by another manufacturer?

I've seen a few. Lance from Oregon has one on his SC, and Thom's '56 SC had one on it when he got it.

I think it's called a "postal box." It belongs to he-whose-name-cannot be-spoken-here. Legend has it that he scored it from the SOTO classifieds for next to nothing back during the dark ages. _________________ -Thom

I've got a camper shell for my 63 Single cab. It was made by 'Hot Tops' in Paradise Ca. Has a metal frame that the shell sits on.It is pure 70's funk! |
