Can't tell from that picture. You can tell if you look at the reduction boxes quite easily. BD spring plates have a cut out in them like a bug, and slot into the gap as shown below:

On non barndoors the spring plates don't have a cut out and bolt to the back of reduction boxes

comparing it to a 54 tranny that I have on a stand right now yours looks identical, but I can't see some of the key features that would guarantee it to be a barndoor.

You can check the Transmission case # if you have access to the tranny.

Many thanks for answers but this gearbox is on a rest of a bus transformed as a farm-vehicle then I can't see what I wan't on it.

That rear end chassis looks to be beetle - which may point to it being a beetle gearbox. You sure its not a beetle turned into a van?
Interesting bit of kit, good to see some more pics.
