just got through the thread. looks like you've made quite a bit of progress. I appreciate having access to the pictures, as I am working on my 73 as of two days ago.
Question: earlier in the thread you mentioned an issue with a replacement door and the trim clip holes not lining up. I am facing the same dilemma. the drivers door on mine is in fantastic shape, although wrong, but I don't want to look for another door. did you address this issue yet?
I think I know the answer to this question but I don't want to face it... _________________ always seeking a better way

I'm thinking the wide trim may cover up the wrong holes..but either way...some drilling of new holes will be necessary

Naw, I wish I did. I got rid of those a few years ago, I'll keep an eye out for you , tho.
How much would it cost to redip one wheel? _________________ MIAMI V-DUBS

Man you have got to be kidding me about your birthday was Monday and you turned 30. Believe it or not, mine was Monday and I turned 30. Too weird...you live in LA, I was born and raised in LA, you have a yellow '73 as I do too and we were both born on the exact same day. Sounds silly I know but it's kinda freaky. |
that was last year
happy B-day to you too bro...just bustin' your balls _________________ Donate and help me get another aircooled dub to share with you guys www.paypal.me/WhosCare |
