My 61 dc i bought last summer, its now in my shop, taking care of the cancer (and thats my 71 fat chick in the background of the top pic)
Iwas on the job one day and started talking about vws with aguy delivering adozer . He said a friend had a dc .Igot the #,made a deal ,a59 bus came with it plus his parts .Hetold me if Ibuy the dc to take it allcause he was getting out of vws

yes I'M restoring it .It is not going back 100% original because there is alot rust under it and the po hacked out the bulkhead. |

Igot some more work done over the weekend.Ifinished the seat brackets &set the seats in (the upolstery will be changed ).Then Ifinished the rear panel.Iturned the truck around & started getting things ready to be worked on this week.
