There are so many kewl Squarebacks in the world, so i've also decided to do a restoration on my '69 Squareback. I hope to be back on the streets in may.

I started to strip the car on jan 4, 2010.

I like the look of the redneedles!
but ... the have 6V!
Sad

so i removed the 6V parts and build the into the 12V armatures.
clock was very tricky, because the needle was mounted very strong!

but i finally did it - 12V REDNEEDLES!!!

Did aussie cars get the rubber mats all the way through, or is it just because it was a "cheap" car as you put it?

Nice work so far, I like your fabric selection for the interior.

I tripped out on your thread title, 'cause I'm working on a '69 squareback named "Wilson" also. Although I'm not really restoring it, just getting it roadworthy and then reducing it's roadworthiness by slamming it.

Nice work. Really like the fabric you are useing. Squarebaks rule! I just bought a 69 that is identical to my first car I had in high school back in 83. Takes me back every time I get behind the wheel Very Happy
