Hi Eric,
The one on the first picture , the 16" is in private hands now. Its has i blieve around 40.000km on the clock!
I saw this van about 5 years ago and then it was in top condition! For sure the cleanest orginal 16" van i know off in sweden.
That singlecab 14" fire truck (pic taken on vanfest 2008) resides now in the netherlands.

Winter takes it toll on the Backmobile from DEnmark.
Thankfully the driver is OK.
Take care out there

I believe it is or else someone else put pretzel stickers (all the way on the left about mid-height of the photo behind the door on the lower body) on their T3 box truck. _________________ 89 Bluestar-2.5 Subaru Powered-RIP

I don't think it's the same truck. If you look at the picture with the damaged vehicle there is a Bell of some sort just above the passanger side cab. Its painted dark, the one in the last picture its painted tan. Were there a fleet of Das Pretzel wagons? _________________ 1985 Wolfsburg Edition Westfalia Camper Bostig conversion

Winter takes its toll? What, was it crushed by a glacier? _________________ Shop for unique and useful Vanagon accessories at the Vanistan shop:

the pretzel truck isn't worth saving imho. I may be alone in this, but not all "unique" vehicles are valuable. _________________ '77 Bay Window / '89 Caratsburg (aka. the Stormtrooper) |

I agree, not too much demand for that thing, and the damage looks to be pretty extensive. you could sell it to somebody who wants to fix it. _________________

Or just leave it wedged in the ice and turn it into a cheap rental property. _________________ Shop for unique and useful Vanagon accessories at the Vanistan shop:

And a lot of valuable vehicles are less interesting than this one. Its not just value but also the interesting points about a unique vehicle that should decide if its saved or not. Sentimental value is also a factor, imho
Cheers,
