I've looked on line and in a shelf full of catalogs and I keep coming up with zip. Isn't there a cover available for that spare tire in the left rear location?

I know Octavio's in CA has made at least one for someone, although I don't know if he has a pattern.

I don't know if they are generally available from TMI, etc.

Unless you have bias ply tires or are running small-diameter radial tires, a stock tire cover most likely will not fit right.

This subject came up recently in my email so I made a crude drawing of the spare tire cover dimensions from my 1963 15-Window, pictured above and in these links:

This is for 15" wheels, I don't know if 14" covers have the same dimensions.
Anyone have one they can check?

I bought a color matching one off Ebay for about $15 delivered. I think it was from a Jeep.

Here is one I bought on ebay, years ago, from a jeep. My spare is mounted higher than normal due to a gas heater that is underneath it.

Seen in the Classifieds today.

Looks generally correct in the shape and has snaps but maybe a home-made re-make?

looks like the 65-67 buses spare tire cover was a basket weave vinyl that is not used elsewhere in the bus, and no beading.
The one in the classifieds might be from a mesh grey interior bus?

Thank you Clara.

I forgot to say it looked Black to me and thus maybe a correct but older re-make but it very well could be the Dark Grey you show above.
