They didn't make a syncro in '80
There isn't any rear seating so it isn't a double cab
So it kinda "isn't"

Ya got me there. It does look like there would be room to put some seating back there, if, and this is a big if, it ever got finished. But you're right, i forgot the title of this thread was syncro doka. Not just doka.

Its almost 3am here, so I'm off to bed.

How does a single cab syncro sound? A guy on the norwegian forum bought this one not far from here, and I picked it up for him and drove 600km down to him. That was an awsome thing to drive, not much acceleration but it would aesely cruse at 120kph when the road allowed it! Tires are 235/75 15 BFG AT.

Dangerous thing to drive, now I want new syncro! I got a rolled parts syncro in the deal so we'll see.

About 1,700 produced worldwide so they are rare. Treasure chest doors and gates are sinka only.
They are cool but it seems that singlecab owners never keep them for too long- maybe you will get this one in the future?
Nice pictures Smile

I'm in line if he sells it so maybe in the future. He bought this one to keep, he is getting "old" so he got rid of his 1.9 TDi sika that was pretty rusty. This one is pretty solid. In total i know of people that has or know of a total of 5 or 6 sika syncro's here in norway.

There were some Tristars and others rare syncro but not anything like ours.
1.6 TD engine with 2 locking mechanism and it is factory 4 door but with stock grey interior as on any doka. We added sliding rear windows and front seats with armrests with pocket on the back from TRISTAR

My Tristar Syncro doka is for sale on UK Ebay item number 300402178724. It's a very nice example, but as it's right hand drive, may not be of any intereste to N.A. Either way, the ad on Ebay has links to lot's of photos, so if you're interested in what a Tristar with only 35k miles looks like, have a look.

Cheers,

Robert

I love that van. That's $22,500.00. Reasonable if they throw in free shipping : )
