I had to find a dirt road to rally the ol' jetta on today to really realize what he actually did.

great story thanks for posting it. I've done some of that, freelance of course lol. Had a field with tracks we had made, went rallying around on a baja so much fun. We only took out a few trees Laughing

That is one amazing story, that's what racing should be IMO.
The samba should get together, build a rally car in kick some asses in there.

True, true, but that's not like a really huge rally like this, they're (at least the Porsche-Salzburg) not competing directly against the big guns, just like fellow cheap people. I think, I could be wrong. Of course, that beetle is still awesome.
