Need a little help figuring out how to get this working, I just don't understand electrical whatsoever. I have searched Vintagebus, The Samba & a few others with no luck. From what I understand so far, the po bypassed the 9 pin relay with this setup. I have the super-sized laminated wiring diagram (thanks Staples!) but when it comes to this non-factory cluster I just look at it, shake my head and feel like a dumbass. Please help!! Are you trying to replace the top unit with the one in pic #2??

If so wrong flasher unit, You need a round 3 spade not the box unit.

Was that the ??

Thinking you have the aftermarket replacement flasher kit setup.

Try:

No, the generic round flasher is attached to the clear relay box, but I'm not sure if it's hooked up properly. Does this make sense?

Thank you Eric & Barb, maybe I can figure it out if I get some power to it with a light tester or voltmeter. Is anyone using this setup? I googled Magnetec & found no answers.

No problem!!

If you do not get it to work you should consider just buying:

http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=VWC-211-953-227-B

Looks like the setup you have now has been phased out, due to availability of the above single box instead of the mess of wires and multiple relays.
