I finally got away from the Napa Fuel Hose and Chinese hose clamps. I now feel good about my fuel line. If this Empi/Solex was not 1/8FPT well then it is now.

Nice setup, Did you have those custom made or modify them yourself?
How is the line connected to the fuel tank? |

I'd love to know where you got everything to do that. |

I went to my local Hydraulic Shop and requested 6mm HP Flex Fuel Line that can accept crimp type JIC fittings. On the carb end I have a 6mm Hose to 90 Swivel #4 JIC Female. That screws on to a #4 JIC Male x 1/8MPT Straight Adapter. All of these type fittings are 5000 PSI Steel and come plated gold or brite silver. See if you can look through the bin and find nice looking ones, pretty ones if you will (Its not gay). I used Teflon paste on carb fitting. The other end of hose is 1/4 MPT. This screws into a fuel filter under the rear floor area. For me its easy to change and pretty(not gay). All of my lines are now crimp fitted hoses. Crankcase vent is temporary for now.

Looks good! I keep thinking about doing something similar with the push-lok stuff.

And yet another one figures out the secret "JIC" Nice work man.
Just curious why you didn't opt for SS braided hose since you were having it made anyway?? _________________ '67 Sunroof

Crimp Ends Fuel Line for a (Kadron Style) to Frame Horn. This is the first one I had made. I now have a shorter one that allows for a fuel filter outside of the engine compartment. One pictured is a #4 JIC 90 to 6mm Compression. There is also a crimp style fitting that eliminates the 6mm coupling and has just the nut and ferrule. A disposable threaded fuel filter is what I am going to look for next. Any suggestions?

You're kind of screwing yourself sticking with metric threaded parts. Converting to SAE is the one thing you can do to make plumbing life easier. I use an OEM GM SS threaded filter. _________________ '67 Sunroof
