Looking for help! Can I get your product recommendations for priming the material behind the front bumper?

It's an 86. The paint has flaked off and is looking pretty ugly.

Thanks for the help, Brian.

Brian, can't you use por15 then some primer on it?
Then maybe some bedliner or undercoating?

Not sure Tim. It's a funky material I think. I haven't actually looked real close at it yet. Snowed here yesterday!

Figured I would throw it out to the pro's.

Brian.

P.S. we got camping Easter weekend...it was over 70 here!

Are you talking about this space between the bumper and the front of the van? In the pics the black por15 is covering a seam that has some texture to it. I think it's alot of seam sealer where cosmetically it dosen't matter how it looks but I could be wrong.

Yep, that's where I'm talking about. I went out in the cold rain today and checked. It is metal there. For some reason I thought it was rubber type material. I never actually touched it.

I'll look for some stuff tomorrow.

Thanks, Brian.
