My passenger door window in my '69 westy fell of the rail. Probably because it rusted off. Took the panel off and plastic liner to fix it and found a '69 dime. I left it in the door, figured why break up the set now. |

Gutted my westy interior to find cards, coins, a kotex wrapper, toys, a cassette tape, a year book photo, a credit card, a hem bar wrapper, a thong, a sock, and a lot of dead (and not so dead) bugs.

Add a couple of wine coolers to that pic and you got yourself a party. _________________ 1977 Westy 2.0L FI

Lots of mirrors were in mine - not the VW kind. Also a toilet seat ,bad curtains, cups, saucers, steamer pan, a couple kid cots and dirt!
Wonder what all those mirrors were for - they must have really liked looking at themselves _________________ Nothin left to do....

my bay was pretty stripped when i picked it up, mostly only found dangling and cut wires, enough to make me go mad after tracing dead ends for a few days, but today I pulled the engine to clean the engine bay and relocate a few things. and on the drivers side behind the tail likes i was cleaning out trash, and found a spare set of keys. When i picked up the keys the key ring crumbled, but the keys were in ok condition, put them in the lock and boom they worked. I just bought a blank the other day to get a spare cut. _________________ daily- 71 baywindow

I pulled out my interior today and while I found nothing cool I did find a lot of kids crap and spare change from the U.S. and Canada and a new box of zip lock bags that came in handy while taking out the interior.

Yesterday while tinkering around I found an old Canadian $100 bill. It was super old, 1/3rd gone and the rest was pretty much turning to dust when I touched it. |

You could bring that across the border, and exchange it for maybe $1.25US _________________ Sent from a white van down the street. |

You might want to check the US vs Canadian exchange rate. Our Canadian Dollar is worth more than the US right now _________________ "I choose to use CAA on old cars with character...instead of car payments on a new car "

I found some Turkish currency, sweet wrappers stuffed down the vents and the business card of a repair shop in Istanbul.
Considering my '73 bus started life in San Diego it's been around! _________________ 1973 LHD Westy 2.0l Type IV, Twin Solex PDSIT, 123 Ignition Vac Distributor, CB2201 Cam |

You really don't have a clue about anything do you?? The Canadian Dollar is worth just slightly more than a US dollar right now. The exchange rate has dropped like a stone over the past few years. Get a clue. _________________ First Trip in the RustyBus:
