Brakes are stock drums on front and large type 3 drums on rear...

Wheels are 13 x 5.5 inch with Goodyears Formula FORD (cantilever) tires front and rear...

Body is "restored" Joe Poty "Sand Piper"....

Roll cage is 1.5 inch .120 wall DOM, powered coated...

Engine is 2180 with dual Weber 44IDF's (estimated 120 hp) ...

Trans (at the moment) is stock IRS 4 speed (from a junk yard no less) until it gets broken....

Here is my new car (still pretty ugly). Even with an open diff, it almost does as well as my 61.

Dale M, we go out to Marina for the UFO events. I've seen you and the rest of the buggys run, you guys are fast! I've taken my Subaru WRX and ran it, didn't really care for the autocross in that car. My boss(Paul Newman) takes his car out there and his son, my coworker/friend Kyle Newman drives it. It's the 57 Chevy 4 door wagon. We've been taking it to other events like the Super Chevy event in Vegas where Kyle was able to get 65+ runs in during the weekend!! Needless to say he was a little tired at the end of the day. Also did the Pro Touring Challenge at El Toro.
