They don't offer the dementions of the swing arm. If it is not wide enough, the bikes won't swing clear on the sides when it opens up to access the rear hatch. Price isn't bad though...

looks like it has a swing to each side, which i don't quite understand. Those kind that are supposed to support the top-tube don't work with a lot of full suspension bikes. _________________ 1984 Westfalia Wolfsburg - 2.5L Subaru - Sold - Preparing to move to the dark side (4x4 Ford van) |

I've started looking around for a bike carrier. I had hope to get something that would ccarry a large BBQ tank also. I don't have any tow bar, etc... on Scooby Blu. Saw a bike carrier at Canadian Tire over the hatch or over a trunk will carry up to 132 lbs. That's good for me as my electric bike is 83 lbs. Not what I wanted but economics rule. _________________ '09 2.5L Jetta 5 cylinder, 5 spd, super turbo, see thread in H2O Cooled Jetta, etc...

The rack glides away from vehicle (which I hope it already gives room for the hatch to open) and if u want, u can swing the rack either direction. It pivots side to side, allowing access to rear cargo area. _________________ 90 westy 2wd w/ TBD |

Oh, i see. All i had to do was click the link and look at the additional pictures.
Looks alright, not amazing. I'm amazed at how much money they want for really nice bike racks. i'm probably building my own soon (right after i finish my custom bumper). _________________ 1984 Westfalia Wolfsburg - 2.5L Subaru - Sold - Preparing to move to the dark side (4x4 Ford van) |

The issue for me would just be the fact that it is hitch mount and I have no hitch LOL.
As far as the top tube issue, you gotta be creative
