I bought a 12v starter from Vince. The starter was shipped fast via usps. Once I opened the box, it had a few pieces of newspaper, and one piece of cardboard in the box. Since the starter was heavy, and the box was bigger than the starter, it was able to move around quite a bit in the box. I found the solenoid cap broken into about 6 pieces. I had to order a new solenoid from a local shop for $36. _________________ My bus resto thread:

IIRC that "one piece of cardboard" pretty much wrapped the entire
starter with another layer of what I thought would be adequate protection.
If you would like a $36 refund for your added expense, all you
have to do is ask. _________________ ****************************

Thanks Vince. I know you had good intentions with the packaging and we both think that USPS did a really bad job handling the package. I hope to do business with you again in the future. I'll kick in a little extra money for the insurance option. _________________ My bus resto thread:

Another flawless transaction. Dealing with Vince is always easy and you are assured that he will deliver. Vince is honest, very accommodating, excellent communication and shipment is done quickly. I have just been informed that the parts arrived in Singapore ~ within a week.
Thanks my friend. You are certainly one of my top source for parts.
