The PO's weapon of choice was fiberglass under Bondo.

Actually before there was Bondo there was something called Snow White which was the same basic material, a polyester filler. I'm pretty sure that particular product was around since at least the mid 50's.

bondo came out in 1958 or 59

how many cans of bondo went into that? he could have just banged it out for cheaper and it would have been better

couldn't tell ya...although i do remember seeing a rainbow of colors on the bondo blocks from the different mixtures of hardener they used....
