Hey there,

I found a leak in one of the tubes for my windshield washer, it appears to be in the steering column. How do I get to it? Do I have to pull the wheel and work down or is there another way?

Thanks!

There's a great way to get rid of that outdated system for cheap. Get yourself a plain wiper fluid pump (same type used in a rabbit, cheap) & run a new line from your tank to the pump & route it up to the wiper nozzles. Hook up a switch to the pump and voila. Make sure you put a small hole in the cap of your wiper fluid reservoir, or a vacuum in there will keep fluid from pumping. Never worry about not having enough pressure in your tank or having a hose leak & spray fluid all over your steering column & cause weird problems with your wiring.

If you add an aquarium check valve (use for the air pump) in the line to the squirters, it will prevent the fluid from flowing back to the tank. A momentary toggle switch works great.
