I rented "Bundy" a little while ago, but instead of a Gold 1303 it was a Yellow standard, and it was featured in alot of scenes. There are probably a few different Ted Bundy movies out there.

I remember turning on the tv one night roughly 10 years ago and saw a scene where two guys are riding in a small car through a large open area and hundreds of Beetles go flying past them. I didn't have time to watch the rest and never found out what it was called. Anyone seen this or have a clue what movie I'm talking about. I'd like to see it again.

It's not a film, but the in the Japanese anime FLCL I've seen a new Beetle, a Rabbit, a Squareback, and a 411. Most of 'em get destroyed, good thing it's animated Smile Also, there's an episode of Futurama where Fry gets a VW bus from a 20th century archeological dig.

There's also this movie from the 70's called "The Great American Traffic Jam." It's never on TV anymore, and you probably can't even rent it, but it was always on TV when I was a kid. There's tons of VWs- in that- bugs, busses, and a Thing driver plays a significant role.

I was watching "Cowboy Bebop The Movie" this afternoon, (an animated movie). It's based in 2071 on mars, and there's a whole bunch of cars that look just like bugs and busses...

In "Spaceballs, The Movie" by Mel Brooks they drive or I guess I should say fly in a hover craft that looks just like a type 181 Thing with out wheels. The part where they are in the desert.

50 First Dates: Drew Berrymore drove a Thing

In one of the Cheech and Chong movies I think Born in east LA there is a pink vert. The movie Speed has a yellow Thing, There is a commercial on now that has a yellow thing in it but you only see it from the inside out.
