I don't know any tricks. Did it fit before? It wasn't sand blasted, welded or anything since being removed to change its shape was it?
it doesn't close right or its not matching up with the body at the top of the hood. Should just be a matter of loosening the bolts and moving it a touch.
Just keep tweakin it. Loosen slightly.. move it.. tighten a bit and try again. _________________ 77 super convertible |

well there's no magic to it. If it fit before.. unless you took out the hinges (and even if you did) it should be adjustable. maybe they bent in the bottom and you can't make it fit in both places? _________________ 77 super convertible |

I would take it to a body shop if you are banging your head. They will likely be able to do it in 15 minutes and cost you next to nothing. |

If you take the hood off you can file/grind your bracket to bolt the hood down lower. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

you can always oval out your hinges. I mean where the bolt holes are. You will get more room for adjustment. Use bigger washers after wards or bolts with bigger heads. |
