I still can't understand how this fucker is still breathing. He's seemingly disappeared off of the RAMVA newsgroup for now, too. |

yea, i made the mistake of dealing with Mario too. he told me he could put my 70 Ghia back together in abiut 2 weeks, it was at his shop for 10 months. when i finally got my car back the work which i paid for was SHITTY. and of course i was missing parts. at the same time he was wiring a dunebuggy for me, incomplete work, left bolts out ,charged for work not done, and of course missing parts. I did take him to Small Claims court and won a judgement of $1500. i have since appealled and requested a trial by jury. If you are a victim of Mario Gavazzi in any way I would certainly like to speak with you. I Mike Johnson can be reached at 336-684-6894 I am willing to take this as far as it needs to go. I can also be reached by email at [email protected] |

Unreal. I see him from time to time. I can't believe he makes enough money to eat. There are so uninformed folks still out there. _________________ Why buy what you can build.

If you won a $1500 judgement, why did you appeal? _________________

it's all wasted effort, unfortunately... judgements are piled up against Mario, but since he litterally owns NOTHING, and never will, hard to collect on a judgment... _________________

His business practices have been very well documented. Type his company/personal name into Google and look what shows up.
At this point, if someone chooses him for a restoration, shame on them. Everything is out there, laid out.
Take 10 seconds and do a basic search if you're think of spending 10K with him.

Here's one tip. What about laying claim to his shop's tools as assets? _________________

Yip--get a certified copy of your judgment and get with the Sheriff to set up an auction. That's how it works in a lot of places. Get your $1,500 first and then worry about getting the rest. If you take his tools, you might well succeed in making the world a better place. Not that he really uses tools. But you can still sell 50 gallon drums of bondo at a sheriff's auction. _________________ Not enough car seats fit into my:

Where is his shop? The thread title shows North Carolina.
I frequent shows in NC and VA and would not want to support him at swap meets in those areas. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Not sure of the exact location of his shop. At shows he is the skinny dirty blonde guy with a tie dyed shirt. Usually he is by himself because no one wants anything to do with him. _________________ Brett

Google is your Friend.

Right across from the Food Lion and down the street from Federal Waste Paper. On street view if you look a little east of north you can see some VWs parked back from the street, apparently behind a squirt-it-yourself car wash. |
