An old pic of my Fraser Nash replica kit car. I call it an abortion with great reluctance, since I love the car, but it has pickup-truck side mirrors and 5-spoke mag wheels where almost all others have wire wheels and vintage-style mirrors.

Does anyone here think it's an abortion? Question

Nope, and it's home-made so it fits the rather broad and flexible criteria of this thread. Any more pics?

Yeah, that does seem like an afterthought. All those curves and then that stubby thing sticking straight out.

That thing needs a pair of graceful shark fin style tips

Isn't it bad enough they put 350's in ford's???? Evil or Very Mad

I agree !
They should take all the Chevy 350's and use them to plug up the pipe that's leaking all the oil into the Gulf !

I think it wants to be a baja but has second thoughts... Could have been worse.

Close. It was a wannabe baja and the new owner has been slowly moving it back to a more stock look. He is especially not fond of the fenders.

I've got a couple better-quality ones I just uploaded to the gallery, these were far more recent pictures, with the truck mirrors and 5-spoke wheels replaced. I didn't want to go with the Chevy hub adapter and Cragar steel-spoke route that so many Fraser Nash, Bugatti and Gazelle kits had gone down, and I wasn't going to pony up the bucks to put adapters for wire-spoke wheels on at the time either, so I went with wire-spoke 1980s Oldsmobile hubcaps that had the center caps painted black.

Agree with earlier post good concept with some execution flaws - But I appreciate what was done.

My critique - Wheel choice is wrong for a led sled look.Salt flat disks, spinners or something more along those lines are needed. Same with exhaust. Duals almost in stock location would have worked better. Front edge of roof doesnt quite work - a visor would maybe fix it. Rear fenders don't quite do it for me..
