Anyone know if there are directions online for removing the dash out of my 1975 westy. I've fiddled around, found some screws and what not, but I can't get the whole thing off.
I have a wiring nightmare under the dash that I want to get resolved while I'm re-doing the interior.

| I installed a new dash. You have screws on either side of the dash in the doors, screws along the back behind the windscreen, screws on either side of the steering wheel base, and the e-brake. Take all that stuff off, all the knobs, the speedo pod and glovebox and it lifts off. I also sanded the metal top of the dash (which can be unsrewed from the dash) and re-painted it and put Rustoleum on the inside below the windscreen. It's not too tough. |
