after a long winters nap it finally came out of storage

let it dry out for a couple of days then i got in there and start
narrowing the rear end and finishing it

testing out the lights after i had a freind do a custom wiring job for it

finally got the motor in what a pita nothing fit right so it took forever Rolling Eyes
the oil filter had to be moved and the mufflers had to be bent down just to get the bumper brackets on

Was this bus at the Vintage Meet? If so, I'm sorry I missed it.

One point to mention. I think you're going to dislike having those dual mufflers scraping out back. A custom hideaway would be the way to go. I sold a complete setup including flanged heater boxes to match the exhaust for $50 on Saturday. It would have been perfect for your bus.

what did you do on fixing the "window" that was cut into teh side? donor bus, or just flat metal with a bend?

how hard was it to weld in without warping?

I've done it, had cut a hole for a jealousy window into my panel used sheet metal and just took my time. Going slow was the best thing I could have done. Still some warping, (I was still learning,) but it did turn out nice.

i had cut up another panel many years ago and i saved alot of donor metal from it
as far as the welding i just did small welds every 6" around the opening

it was suppose to be at vintage but i had a little issue with the trailer
and it's not roadworthy yet so i couldn't drive it there
the mufflers are just temp. i am going to make some later on
