does anyone have pics and measurements for the strap that holds the stool to the sink/coolbox unit?

As for measurements it 240mm X 17mm + 10mm more for the buckle, the tapered section at the end is 35mm long and there's holes at 35,55,75 and 95mm from the tapered tip.

Here are a few pics for you man, the strap measures about 10 3/4"-11" long by 5/8" wide, hard to see in my pics because I had to shrink them so much for this site to accept them, hope this helps you out, it would be great if you find a dog collar close to this size, it would probably work perfect!

Can I ask what material it is made from (I thought it was leather but doesn't look like it in the pics) and how is it fixed to the stool, or is it just rammed in there

It's just pinched between the base and seat bottom, it's heavy canvas backed vinyl like the sides of a running shoe although Opossum's looks more like the stuff on the floor of a Westfalia tent.
