I have had some issues with my accelerator pedal (sheared tab ) which I have now had repaired, I have also bought a re-furb kit (new springs & Z-bar etc.,). but before I assemble the pedal back in the car , I wanted to check the hinge position and if it had been welded in the correct place, at some point in its life it has had a pan half replaced.
I did a search & found these pictures for a 66 bug, should the hinge position be the same for a 58 Ghia, obviously the pans for a Ghia are wider, but the concern I have is for the change in pedals after 65 and the hinge position ?

I will likely need this info as well for my 58, the floors are gone. Good info for my restoration sequencing list!
