There's so many air-cooleds in the Tampa/St Pete area, that we should be able to get a good turnout. Many of us are open to driving to different parts of the bay area for those who are too scared to drive your VW's too far .
I work 2 jobs, go to school, and still make most of the local gatherings, what is YOUR excuse? _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Soon to come a bi-monthly "hump day" meet...
Just a gathering of friends to enjoy a "quick" dinner in some randomly picked dive around town...
oh and bring your vw's... _________________ I ♣ Baby Seals

Man, I've been CRAVING some hooters. But I could do Beef's, Winghouse, or anything else that serves food and drinks. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Winghouse Wednesday sounds good.
Can't do G Peppers tonight, I'm going to a baby shower/keg party (only in FloriDUH).
Besides, looks like it will get washed out anyway _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Sven, I agree man, there's enough aircooleds in Tampa/St Pete that we should have a STRONG presence, but most around here are just afraid to drive them for some reason. That's why we want to start spreading the wealth with our local meets. Jason and I aren't afraid to drive our Vdubs to different parts of town to try different restaurants.
I really wish I could've gone today, but work comes first _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Stevo, I'd be willing to go to Plant City or Lakeland for dinner or a show or something.
There's a great place for cajun style food in Lakeland called Harry's. My wife and I would drive to Georgia to eat at Harry's
Maybe we should schedule a meet at the Plant City car show on the third saturday of the month? We could probably do September. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

Downtown Lakeland has a great feel and some good restaurants. It's not that bad of a drive from Tampa either. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"
