I couldn't find a thread on tool boxes (please refer me appropriately if necessary), so here goes...
My Dad's old Craftsman tool box, circa 1970ish. I'm going to do my best to bring it back to its original glory.

I have that box Gruv, I got it when I was 12, and dad got a plaque with my name on it. It still houses my drill bits. _________________ Feel My Pain l Sage Ad World |

Hmm....I got one new in the very late 70's/early 80's but I don't recall the hasp or the raised area for the hasp, I'll have to go find it now, maybe there's detail changes over the years. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I've got the sears one- it rode in the bug for years until I retired it to the basement to hold all the non metric/non wood working tools. With only one tray, the tool I needed was always in the bottom of the box and I got tired of having to dig.
This is what rides in the bug or the bus now:
It fits behind the gas tank of the '59 really nicely and the cantilever opens up over the top of the gas cap. The most used stuff is in the top (screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches) _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Its a Stahlwillie. Found it on the 'net, Maryland metrics http://mdmetric.com/sw/stahlwillehdr2.htm. There is another one with the trays divided slightly differently _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?
