70 bus oil pressure

I have a 70 bus which has about 40psi @ 2-3
k rpm hot and 6-7 psi @ idle. It runs really good and no wierd noises.?? Does this seem out of line. And if so what should I do to fix it ??? Thank you.

When you drive it, just make sure it runs above 30psi. Mine runs around 40psi in 4th at top speed until I hit elevation or a hill, I then drop to 3rd before it hits 30psi to keep from sucking a valve. This is what I have been told and it seems to hold true. When it idles, I don't think that is out of the ordinary, it should jump above 40psi again once you get in gear.
