I have a '66 Beetle but I think the doors and window regulators are not stock. Please help by telling me what year of bug used this regulator style. Also showing the mounting area of the door. Thanks for your help.

The door and the regulator look like they're from a '64 or earlier. Are the doors on the car now? Are the windows as big as your quarter windows?

Both my doors on the bug are '64 or earlier. How do you like that? I guess, piece by piece, all of these cars are doners to other cars when the parts fit. How common is a '66 with non-stock doors?
By quarter windows, do you mean the back seat windows?

I''ve installed the drivers side regulator - I'd have to take it apart again to get the number.

Yes.
If they are -'64 doors the windows are smaller, in '65- there is a 20% increase in window size. They may bolt up and fit the opening, but they will not match window sizes.
'65- also uses a cable style window regulator, not a geared regulator like the one pictured.
