This is for a 1970 Bay.

I want to replace all of the door and window seals on the
my bus and was looking at the prices for door and
window seal "kits" from various places,

I came across one problem, the passenger door
on my bus has no vent window
.

It has the small triangular glass where the vent window goes,
but its not a vent window. was never a vent window. The
previous owner stated that was the way the bus was ordered
from the factory.

I can not find seals for this type of vent window setup.
Any suggestions?

you could probably replace the window with a vent.
Personally I use the vent all the time.

I've never seen one. Wonder if this was part of the cal-look kits a few years back? That rubber looks pretty nice for 40 year old rubber. look atthe front rubber compared to the vent.

Pretty common on Euro commercials, opening vents in cab doors was an option, Try http://vwbusshop.de/ or www.Serialkombi.com

...or try some places in Australia. I'm pretty sure vents were an option only. Mine is just fixed panes Sad The conversion kits cost hundreds so I've never bothered.

In the UK and Australia, opening front quarter light windows were only an option, even on the deluxes, if you didnt ask you didnt get.

I get all my seals from Status VW here in the UK, they import VEWIB ones www.vewib.de which are I understand OEM German, nice quality and fit in nicely.

The seal you need can be found under 1/4 light seals, you need a RHS fixed one from the drop down list:

Excellent. Thanks for the quick replies.
I was thiking this was going to be a futile effort....
Anyone else seen this setup on other buses?

By the way, this is a total euro bus. It was bought in Germany and
shipped here in 70'. Still has the original license plate attached!

Ours is a Euro '70 as well... tourist delivery. No vent wings and no jalousies... solid pane on the driver's side middle window. No electrical hookups either.

That's how they are on my 68 single cab, maybe you could use those replacement parts (if there available).
