Does anybody have a picture of this? I think I am beginning to dig this out from under years of paint on my 58 SC. I would love to see what I'm working towards, but it will be months (years?) before I have much to show for it. I poked around the gallery but couldn't find anything.

Here is what I have so far.

Page 9. Perhaps back in the day? This is probably what I'll end up with.

Here is the Samba reference pic for L 62.

I would still love to see a good reference pic of a stock pressed bumper single cab in Ivory.

So, any other pics of the Ivory? I am about to start claiming that I have the only pre-59 ivory single cab known.

Unless I'm proven wrong.

I have a 12/30/58 build with what looks to be ivory,it was a Panama export and a SK 669 paint code that I could not cross reference. I will get a pic tomorrow to see if it matches, such a late build probably classifies it as a 59 model.

Great! Interesting, I can't wait to see it. Whats the SK 669 paint code from, ie, where did you get that code? I think your right though, that classifies it as a 59.

I got that paint code from the M-code plate,I decoded it and there is a list for that letter code paint, nothing matched the numerical designation. The passenger side door jam still has the original paint on my sc..it was getting dark so I will get a good pic in the AM and post.

Yeah...huge hassle Rolling Eyes . When you view the pic in the gallery, you copy and paste that forum link up above the pic in your gallery.

Did you look inside the right side headlight bucket(behind the headlight) for the paint code?

I did not know about the headlight bucket code location,I will take a look this week and see what it says. Original color is pleasing, brushed on rustoleum for now to protect it from the weather..no indoor storage. Well at least it is on the road and getting regular use (saved from the jaws of the crusher..I mean literally,in 05 and slowly patched together).

Ivory Truck, a lot of original paint, some primer with bomb can over it, will come back to original.
