anyone know the correct placement of the empi door handles?
from the pics i have seen they seem to be all over the place some central, some nearer to the 1/4 window just wondered if there is a specific place to mount them or just central to the door? _________________ DBKUK |

I would say centered above the armrest at the top of the door. That is where I put mine and they work just fine. |

yes i have seen them mounted on the upper door panel so if they were taking off only screw holes where shown in the door panel material not on the actual door _________________ Thornton |

A guy in Auburn, that I met, used to be an "accessory installer" for Economotors, I'll see if I can get a hold of him, and see what he has to say. (I remember him saying, "if I never see another C-stripe kit, it will be too soon")
If you ever pull a hub cap off, and find a "Peace Sign" painted inside, it was probably this guy who stuck the mirrors, and whatever else the customer wanted, on the car if they bought it at Economotors, that was his signature... _________________ 2003 Samba Chummie Winner- Best Story
