Looking good Joel. Nice to see it on the ground.
Make sure you use more of that foil faced insulation on the ceiling of your shop to keep the government from sending gamma waves into your brain. One can never be too careful. _________________ nothing |

Wait til' you see how much of your house will fit into the bus when you move, it's ridiculous how much these things will take. Except... will the New Kids On The Block suspension accept the same payload?. Genuine question here. |

It'll be fine once he gets the monster truck tires off the front. Also, buses are great for moving the high volume stuff, which isn't always the heaviest.
Happy moving day, Joel. Did you get the opportunity to move out of town? _________________ nothing |

Joel,
Glad to see that despite everything you obviously have going on, you still managed to get to Winnipeg for the show at St James VW.
Look forward to crossing paths again, Maybe I'll get to Fargo next year in the westy.

Take your front brakes apart!!! The hardline between the cylinders is all wrong. You are looking at wearing a hole in it. It should be nowhere near the spindle or any other piece.
Here is mine:
You also have to watch out for the springs hitting the line.

Joel,
I just replied to your pm. You were checking out my gallery and saw my '59 DD panel with OG SWR paint and wanted info on the Matt Miller seat upholstery. I found the thread link that I started, so go here:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=348302&start=0
I received the first finished set that he ever made which is in my '59 DD panel (see my gallery or the thread), plus the next two sets for my under-restoration '59 Double-Cab ( http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=545000&start=0 ). He made the first prototype /test kit (out of some bright, similar turquoise material!) and installed it on my set bench seat frames, tweaked that pattern a little until it fit perfect, and then used it to sew up the first three kits for my '59's. He fitted and installed them in my garage here in St. Louis.
As many after me who bought and installed these kits from Matt will tell you, he makes the best, most accurate upholstery kit on the planet. Buy yourself a kit, install it and you will be very happy!
Good luck hunting him down!
