This is why I have a vanagon, the perfect TAV. We pulled in at 10pm, slept till 4am and started riding. 13 hours later we were back at the van, solar showered then went into Moab for typically bad Mexican and then camped in Onion Creek on the side of the road. All the sites were full because of a half marathon going on the next day that we didn't know about.
Parking area camp at the top of Mineral Bottom, post ride, nice to have a home waiting.

Winter has hit the high country, decided to quit hiding from it and go play a little.
Not the nicest day...
Tried to get up to the Old Monarch sign but gave up after a few tries, really glad I had a locker, don't use it till you're stuck, the easy way out.

Just a quick run down and around my parents house.
I am so happy to be in possession of my van again, and so is my family!

Took my youngest boy out for an Autumn trip around Dartmoor, including some mild off roading to get into the heart of the country.
Very low light levels dont do the colors justice!
My dad came down from London and we went out the day on Exmoor, thats his Syncro Eurovan.

Photos from a recent camping trip in Moab. We got a bit of a late start since this was a first time camping with a baby. Yes baby, this was our 3 week old daughter's camping initiation. All and all it went good, a little chaotic a times with some minor poop catastrophes.
This was the first camp site on Onion Creek Rd.
This was the second camp site in Sand Flats Rec Area
Another view of camp site.
Castleton Cemetery. Would be a great place to visit on Halloween.

Went to the Urbanna Oyster Festival this weekend, and stayed at Belle Isle SP in VA. Nice campground on the Rappahanock.
