so I have just done some wiring and sarted it right up and drove it!!
so excited that a few things were overlooked like shifter linkage was just tacked and broke. lol and the carb as loose, 2 bolts fell off and other 2 were about to fall 
need to replace the nose cone shifter bushing cause its sloppy and the shifting is off and tighten all the bolts 
but other than that took just about 2 years to build and its all worth it

well this weekend worked on it all day got basically everything working right and took it to the dirt 
found a few problems here and there but nothing major.

after about 30+ miles
fixes and first upgrades.! 
procomp steering dampener
jam nuts on rear arm pivot bolts
and reinforced steering linkage support
still have to reinforce the arms where the bumpstops hit.
taking it out this weekend for more testing

| The long ear goes on the bottom to allow you to cut and lower the stop for more travel. |

its a custom made housing (wider with adjusters) and i guess thats how the guy who i bought it from set it up. 
im not having any clearance problems with how it is so it'll do for now

does great on the road
had the day off work yesterday and took it for the first real road test (freeway) and it does amazingly well drove it about 20 or so miles out of town to do some high speed gravel road testing and the tires worked great!
BUT here it comes..... UNTIL A blown valve guide and a flat tire 
GAHH!

where did you get that conversion plate for the 22r?
i might be able to get my hands on my sisters toyota paso in the next year or so with the 22re

mines a 20r not a 22 but it was free almost the same.
the adapter is a kennedy
it was $480 with.
adapter
flywheel
bolts/studs
and bearing
all thats needed its a vw clutch/pressure plate
