So I finally had the 16s and tires installed yesterday and when I go to stop I get a pulsation in the brake pedal and then you can also feel it when the rig comes to a stop... almost like a grab and release.

Any thoughts?

Pulsation is usually a sign of warped rotors. Over-torquing or unevenly-torquing your lug nuts/bolts can cause that. If you had a shop install the wheels after changing the tires, I'd take it back to them and ask them to make it right.

Sounds like the over torquing as I did not have the sensation before the wheel change.

Get back there ASAP or risk a permanent warp, plus the ensuing wrestling match about who pays for the new rotors...

Turns out that the shop put the left drum on the right side and the right drum on the left side... I still think that there is a little over torquing on the fronts and I will have that taken care of tomorrow when the alignment is done...

I still think that a new sway bar is in my future.

Man I LOVE the Samba. Just replaced my rear wheel cylinders and got the pulsating brake issue. Found this thread and readjusted my wheel lugs and . . . Bam . . . pulse is gone. Nobody knows everything but at least somebody knows something.
