Well, I hear you guys.. I guess where I come from, we don't criticize people for what they like...
At the end of the day, there are a handful of you guys with nothing better to do than bitch about a car that you don't even have to look at..
Thank you guys for the recognition... |

I think the title of this tread explains everything. Bottomline is: Don't post a for sale ad if your the sensitive kind.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, just some peoples opinion of what's good taste doesn't make it good taste. This car is a fine example of it.
I for one like critisim, even when mike fisher gave me grief about not having heater boxes(don't need them where I live) it still got my wheels turning on how I could fix that.
BTW- having type 1 style cooling will over heat in a type three unless the engine compartment is completely sealed and the intake to the fan is ducted to fresh air. Just seems like a PITA for a weaker 40hp motor. _________________ http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y163/chucky1974/ninja.gif

I like the car....... I am probably going to post my notch for sale soon. Should I post it here first to get the real story on my car before I list it, so I know what to say in the listing? I am sure I do not have every correct part or year correct part on the car, should I disclose that in the ad? wait a minute.......would any of you be potential buyers for a running driving notchback?? what is the fair market value of an inside /out painted notchback worth these days anyway? your help is greatly appreciated!!! just have toooooo many cars at the moment....... we just picked up two more cars for Kat, so something has to go on the chopping block. I mainly drive buses, but I have really enjoyed owning and driving my notch... It is going to be in the new 'fast and furious' movie, not that that is some big deal, but cool to have a movie car none the less. I would consider myself as 'hardcore' vw as they come. own almost every gender of vw except for ghias thus far.... so not sure what exactly you mean by this Mike??? I built this car. did not buy it the way it looks. so I guess you could say I am and have built a type 3, yes?????

Now that one looks good. You can see the attention to detail, It also looks like it could easily be restored back to OE without too much trouble. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
