Good day to all. I've seen a lot of very nice vw's running around town. I've seen daily drivers running around town. I've seen a lot of buses also. I would like to know how many of you folks out there would be interested in getting together sometime and see how many VW's there are? I cruise night or something along those lines. Hope to hear from some folks soon. |

There are a few of us to the west about 3 hours or more. I know a there's another 181 owner in La Luz, closer to Alamogordo and a few V-Dub nuts in El Paso and Las Cruces. Would Las Cruces be a better meeting site for a bigger day event? _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."

theres a big vw junk yard in Alamogordo ive been there twice, guy wont let you in the back lot to look at anything, Just tells you to ask what you need. but theres lots of bugs, bunch of type 3's one or two split busses. im wondering if hes still open? also seen three early bugs at a rattle snake place\pawn shop. at the bottom of the mountian into high rolls. the bugs are gone now, he scraped them but there is still parts everywhere the last time my family and i were out there. _________________ 8/56 Oval

Go to top of page and select "Community", then select "Clubs", then select New Mexico. Two show up so give them a call or e-mail.

Yeah, but that's up north to the City. (New Mexico only has a few of those.) It takes me three hours just to get to Las Cruces from my house and that's barely a "City".
Down south here, there are a lot of great Vw's but no organized "Club". FWIW _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."

I'm a recent Bug owner again - one more to join the ranks in Las Cruces. _________________ 1973 Standard Beetle 1600 DP

I would love to come down this Summer with my Dune Buggy. I have some AWESOME in-laws in Almogordo. Anyone from NM Planning to go to the Texas Classic in April?
