Ditto. Currently: 1973, 1977, 1978.
I guess if we tally up the miles on any bus I've owned, YellowBird (1976) would easily take the top spot at about 50,000 miles.

Just logged my '71. Quite a popular year...I wonder if a disproportionate number of '71s have been preserved, or if they are just very popular (and well represented) on this forum.

Voted my 78 here, converted sunroof to camper w/earlier Westy pop-top, bed and cabinet by PO.

Would like to get another bus someday. Probably another 78, hardtop or sunroof, to compliment what I'm learning about the current one, be able to swap parts etc. I am truly addicted now. Very Happy

Chris

Another 71' here. I had done some research on the year differences prior to purchase and was set on an early bay. Luckily I found a 71' in pretty damn fine condition where I live.......no Samba add, no Craigs' list, no local classifieds.....simply parked on the street with a for sale sign.

Yeah I want another one too!

I've had my 1970 longer so that's the one I clicked.

Also part of the 1971 club.
